OLYVE BEAUTY

Hi, I'm Sahara Seidita, founder of OLYVE, originally from Sicily, Italy. I grew up in this beautiful natural landscape together with 15,000 olive trees. My family has successfully developed an olive oil production and distribution business that has been in operation for three generations, since 1922. I have experienced the olive oil production process up close for years and, when The concept of OLYVE developed, I decided to create something unique and nourishing for the body, in an attempt to create a circular economy aimed at combating the waste that derives from the olive oil production process and at the same time offer a natural solution to one of the main problems of our skin, dehydration.

I learned that olive trees have as many or more beneficial properties than green tea, so I began to develop these products that would provide maximum nutrition and care, offering the gifts of olive trees to the body, while being sustainable and natural. OLYVE is a beauty line dedicated to the care of the whole body based on olive leaves and derivatives; what we want to offer are not simply skin care products, but a boost of polyphenols and vitamins for the body.

The key ingredients, olive derivatives and leaves are exclusively from Nocellara del Belice, a particular cultivar which has a higher oleuropein content (polyphenols present within the olive tree) than other cultivars. The leaves are harvested between January and February (the coolest months in Sicily), when the percentage of oleuropein is maximum. This healthy extract contains three times the amount of polyphenols than the best extra virgin olive oil, as well as a wide range of essential amino acids. Therefore, this active ingredient, among its many benefits, offers anti-aging, anti-free radical and calming effects, helping to soothe the skin and blur imperfections, restoring it with balanced nutrition inspired by the healthy Mediterranean diet.

OLYVE products are a food and a boost for the whole body and were created around the concept of 'Skinification': focused on the minimalism of the routine, where the beauty routine becomes easier but no less effective. We offer multi-purpose products that address multiple needs and improve skin with fewer steps. Therefore, OLYVE formulates products that provide a wider range of beneficial nutrients, from phytonutrients such as oleuropein to vitamins and minerals that give multiple effects such as exfoliating, regenerating, anti-aging, satisfying different needs.
