.. where we come from and where we are going!

In 2007 in the Sciammo district in the territory of the municipality of San Teodoro, at the gates of the Nebrodi mountains, Leanza Rural Tourism was born by the Calogero family Leanza.

From the beginning, the Leanza family has focused its interest in rural tourist accommodation, specializing as Tour Operators with Nebrodi Escursioni Leanza.

As the years passed, thanks to Nonna Pina's recipes and the perseverance of Mr and Mrs Calogero and Domenica,  Leanza Rural Tourism has made the menu based on Nebrodi Black Pig its strong point.

In this regard, the flavors of ""their cuisine"", now famous throughout Sicily, have become a strong point of the Company, and thus led it to the creation of the ""MARIOLO"" brand with the consequent  first and true marketing of the ""Nebrodi Black Pig Sauce"".

A one-of-a-kind start-up was thus launched. carried on by the third generation of the Leanza family: the sons Antonio and Stefano.
