Richard Chávez Quispe is a master craftsman recognized as such by the Ministry of Culture of Peru. From an artisan family, he learned the technique of traditional ceramics from Quinua (Ayacucho), land of great alfareros, which he perfected with the use of engobe. The master craftsman has many years of experience in this art and his works have won numerous national and international competitions. Currently, he continues to work in the workshop and tries to ensure that the ancient artisanal tradition of ceramics remains alive and preserved over time.
