The La Torretta company is managed directly by the Marchesi family, and is mainly dedicated to the production of classic wines from the Piacenza hills: Gutturnio, Barbera, Ortrugo and Malvasia, which is accompanied by an ever-increasing production of extra virgin olive oil from the Valley of the Tidone. Hospitality remains one of the firm points of the company which, according to this principle, is always open to visits and offers suggestive environments to enjoy, together with the tasting of its prestigious wines paired with the famous Piacenza DOP cured meats, a incomparable view of Val Tidone. In 2022 it also began the process of converting to Organic Agriculture, as a further commitment to promoting a sustainable territory and products.
