CilentoLab was born in Orria nel Cilento in 2021 thanks to an intuition of Giulia Marzaro, being able to create unique objects and at the same time being able to share a creative space that is an island for those who need express themselves between art and craftsmanship.

 

FROM VENICE TO ORRIA IN CILENTO

Giulia is born and lived for many years in Venice. She graduated from the Liceo Artistico Statale di Venezia located a few meters from the Academy of Fine Arts, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection Museum, and François Pinault's Punta della Dogana, an immersion in beauty and art.

Here, thanks to the countless opportunities that only Venice can offer, he was able to delve into numerous drawing, sculpture, architecture and restoration techniques in all its facets and gain many experiences experiencing an extraordinary relationship with art, architecture and design.

Given his passion for jewelery design, he subsequently attended the School of Arts and Crafts in Vicenza, where he was able to experiment with both both the creative and executive aspects.

But Italy wasn't enough and after a brief experience in London he lived for more than two years in the United States, traveling far and wide across this extraordinary nation: Los Angeles, New York, San Antonio, Las Vegas, Miami, San Francisco... Honolulu in the Hawaiian Islands, all the possible stops as if there was no tomorrow... and, given the arrival of the pandemic, he certainly did well.

Giulia carries out this project together with her mother Ornella who, in addition to being art director, has always been involved in art both for work and passion.

 

LEARN THE ART AND PLAY IT FROM PART

Back in Italy, she continues her artisanal artistic journey and delves into the history and techniques of ceramics, then practicing with Nadia Svoboda, owner of Svo, and Daniela Levera, owner of the Atelier which bears her name, both well-known Venetian artists who introduced her to this beautiful world.

After Venice, London and dozens of splendid cities in the United States, Giulia began to cultivate the idea of ​​creating a laboratory creative and has chosen the place that makes her feel good, returning to her roots:

In the province of Salerno, in the heart of the Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni National Park, in Orria.

 

OUR COLLECTIONS

Every day we imagine and create products in terracotta, porcelain ceramic and porcelain starting from furnishings of the home and in parallel with the creation of a Jewelery Collection.

Our home collections are designed and created with particular attention to the search for shapes, color management, the creation of illustrations that make the product unique and useful. We think that the objects that decorate our home can be beautiful, but they can also be useful because they remind us of good practices, or positive feelings. Therefore, in addition to the illustrations, created by us, which interpret reality, we offer objects that ""speak"" and remind us of a positive attitude for a happy life.

The Jewelery Collection was born from Giulia's passion who designs, creates, paints, enamels and reworks his shapes with 24-carat gold luster to then assemble unique, delicate and elegant.

 

WHERE IS CILENTOLAB LOCATED?

CilentoLab is located in Orria, a small town located in the heart of the Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni National Park. A magical place that few know, where time has stopped, where all the people know each other, where the house is delimited by the borders of the town and not by the walls, where nature is uncontaminated and embraces you with landscapes for a long time radius that start from the hills and reach the sea.

CilentoLab is here to contribute to the conservation of these places because they represent a quality of life now forgotten by more and precisely for this reason it is so necessary.

When we arrive here we feel disoriented, we are no longer used to these rhythms, but if we stop for a while we begin to see the world and ourselves ourselves differently and everything changes irreversibly.
