CAZZIMBOCCHIO - TRADIZIONE CONTEMPORANEA

We have all heard about the “Cazzimbocchio,” but not everyone knows what it exactly is.

As good Neapolitans, we use this word to name something that is always in our way, right in front of us ... almost bothering us, a tedious “whatchamacallit.”

We like to believe that during his pilgrimage in Naples, Saint Peter himself tripped over a rock: “Your Eminence” – someone heard – “Look out for the cazzimbocchio!”

That’s how the Sanpietrino – a square-shaped rock used to make roads and pavements – got its name.

That’s right, the Cazzimbocchio is nothing more than that small square-shaped rock with the scent of history used in our most beautiful cities.

Since our business is to sweeten your taste buds, we thought to make a dessert out of it.
