TERRE D'ACQUAVIVA

The Terre d'acquaviva brewery is a small reality that dedicates maximum care to the product in all its phase, from the choice of raw materials to bottling. A product conceived to reflect the tertistic Carats of craftsmanship that denote its own being. The brewery is based in a historic opes factory in the Municipality of Atri, in the Fontanelle hamlet, the building already home to one of the last mills of the Vomano valley has been adapted in compliance with its original character to accommodate brewer's production. In a semi -rural context, a small water mill was implanted in the seventeenth century which became a point of reference for the entire Teramo province so much so that it was reported in numerous historical cards. Its presence is documented on the Bourbon cards and the original system under modifications only in the early twentieth century. The structure was expanded in order to allow an increase in production and the building assumed the classic appearance of a house -Bottega Comun artisan laboratory on the ground floor and residence on the upper floor. The mill was transformed to electric traction in the seventies but the traces of the old water system, evidence recovered and still visible inside the brewery, remained impressed in the structure.
