LE GIOIE DI IVY

My name is Elvira Giammetta aka ""Ivy"" born in Foggia in 1984, contemporary painter and self -taught bijoux creator. Since I was a child I had been enchanted by everything that was art, music, theater, painting, dance, costumes and fashion. In my room, after school, I spent whole afternoons ""compose"" lyrics, invent songs, choreography and draw beautiful women with big eyes with elegant clothes and gift jewels. Several sorrows of life led me to not be able to achieve myself in the study of the study, thus turning off my passions. Retired later in adulthood after becoming a mother of now three wonderful children when life gave me a second precious possibility, an explosion of emotions and repressed feelings rekindled me by leading me to dress alone art. So I always quote to you: ""Bring your eyes that to give joy to the heart is a moment!"" In fact, it was just a moment that from the paintings all the designed elements gave birth to the components for the realization of the jewels. I started ""extrapolating"" the symbols that I paint on the canvases and transfer them to the design and in painting on recycled paper, then resin them and assemble them with surgical steel components (therefore hypoallergenic). So my joys are born ..
