Sancarraro is the nickname â € ""â € � “Injiuria â € â €"" given to the Anselmi family and its descendants since the Ëœ800, as it is said, that the ancestors of the ANSELMI used to go to the location of Piano San Carlo , located, in the municipality of Mazara del Vallo, near the current Natural Reserve of Lake Preola and Round Gorghi, to cultivate its vineyards. The Anselmi family, which cultivates vineyards for generations, produces quality grapes. Among the cultivated varieties, Grillo, an autochthonous grape variety, which in the Toriglia area, near the sea, has perfumes and particular aromas derived from saving and from the residues of algae posidonia, which the wind distributes in neighboring land and residues in the area deserves a particular mention.
