Algeria craftsmanship creating jobs and wealth, crafts in Algeria constitutes an essential link in the national economy, but also of regional planning. The sector largely participates in territorial economic dynamics in the service of the population, businesses and the local economy. Pottery, carpet, goldsmithery, furniture, jewelry, dinantry (finely worked brass), camel stools, traditional clothes ... Crafts in Algeria is the soul of a collective identity. Leather, metal and wood are the three materials used. The work of the first was once reserved for women. Algerian crafts are rich in its history and its craftsmen. It is a national sector which brings together more than 450,000 activities with 1,200,000 direct jobs.
