The history of the Fazzolari farm began in 1977, when Francesco Fazzolari, an entrepreneur with a passion for agriculture, returning from his expatriation to Argentina, undertakes the cultivation of olive trees in the hectares of land purchased in the countryside of Marina di Gioiosa Jonica. After a few years, with the creation of a mill, Francesco finally makes the entire olive supply chain active and complete. In 1997, the company was flanked by the figures of the children Domenico and Salvatore, who dedicate themselves to the development and modernization of business thanks to the application of the most modern processing and production techniques of extra virgin olive oil, to which it is supported Soon that of the olives in brine strictly as per traditional recipe. From January 2018 the company passes into the hands of the nephew Maria Chiara who, as a passionate for the earth and for food culture, undertakes and concludes its studies in ""Food Sciences and Technologies"" and, subsequently, enabled for the profession of agrotechnician Graduate. Sure of the quality of its products, it senses the importance of making its own brand known in Italy and abroad, and succeeds by obtaining the Food Italy® certification with which it ensures the consumer a 100% Italian raw material worked in Italy e GMO free. Today the company continues to produce its products according to the principles of traditionality and quality, strictly following the highest standards, with the same passion that has characterized it for three generations for now. The Fazzolari farm is located in the municipality of Marina di Gioiosa Jonica in a hilly area about 150 meters above sea level. The typically Mediterranean climate that characterizes the area, makes it suitable for the cultivation of the olive tree. It extends over an area of ​​about 19 hectares in which peers of the same 20 years of age belonging to the Carolea, Geracese and Nocellara del Belice cultivars from which we obtain our products are carefully cultivated. The varieties, the methods of cultivation, the short times between the collection and the milling are the factors that determine the harmonious aromatic notes and the delicate and balanced taste of our oil, which maintains all the beneficial properties that the oil unaltered Extra virgin olive boasts from its origins. The love and passion that we put in our work allows us to guarantee the final consumer a genuine and superior quality product, the result of the most adequate cultural techniques applied in the field for all the vegetative and productive phases of our plants.
