The ""The Island of Honey by Giorgio Saba"" is a company, it has been operating in the local reality of the Middle Campidano for about twenty years now. From the beginning, our company has proposed to produce its honey, with the care and attention that only a family management can guarantee, a genuine product, thanks to the use of traditional methods and respect for tradition and nature. The company is located on the outskirts of Gonnosfanadiga a country on the slopes of Monte Linas one of the highest massors in Sardinia, a strategic area for beekeeping thanks to the always mild climate and its rich spontaneous flora of Mediterranean scrub with dense vegetation and the uncontaminated environment of our hills and mountains. These vast pristine areas covered with typical Mediterranean scrub allow to obtain various delicious honey that are distinguished by their organoleptic characteristics and for the excellent taste and for their therapeutic, sweetening and nutritional properties. Numerous monoflora honey are produced here such as Cardo, Asphodelo, Orange Cisto and citrus fruits, eucalyptus, but also thyme and mountain strawberry tree and an excellent Millefiori of Mediterranean scrub. Always attentive to the selected production of its delicious and genuine honey, still made with traditional methods; We also produce honey -based compounds such as balsamic honey, with ginger and turmeric, honey and hazelnut and energy honey, pollen and propolis.
