The company was born from an idea by Valentina Brizzi, the owner, who, together with the Father Domenico and Mother Mary Cordì, has taken inspiration from an ancient tradition of the Locride, the collection and conservation of wild artichokes Zinurra. Unique by type of cultivation and processing products. Here the Earth offers spontaneous and non-material products with generosity, relevant to taste and health. In the Calabrian tradition the wild artichoke, here called ""Zinurra"", is an important part of the family nutrition: is collected by men in the countryside and on the hills, and is skillfully cleaned and preserved by women and Calabrian mothers. Our family understood the goodness and value of this product, for this reason we want to promote it and enhance it, offering everyone the opportunity to taste this typical Calabrese product difficult to find, exquisite and healthy. We therefore created a modern farm in the heart of the Locride, between Benestare and Ardore, in the province of Reggio Calabria, where we cultivate artichokes in our protected lands and transform them directly into our laboratories; These fruit fruits are thus processed within twenty-four hours of collection, maintaining the unaltered and full flavor. You can then buy directly from those who produce, without intermediaries, helping to grow our small local reality. For the processing and processing of artichokes excellent raw materials of protected origin are used, such as extra virgin olive oil, the pistachio of Bronte, the lemons and the Bergamot of Calabria. In addition to wild artichokes we have tried to use all the raw materials offered by our land to expand the product range. Taste delicacy, top quality ingredients, preparation according to tradition and innovative presentation characterize our products: VERE excellence of Calabrese agri-food.
