ANTICA CONTEA BIRRIFICIO IN GORIZIA

The brewery was born in 2013, from the idea of ​​two schoolmates, Andrea and Costantino, united by two great passions, that for English craft beer and that for their territory. The first authentic artisan brewery of Gorizia therefore comes to light in a small laboratory in the city, with a production slightly more than 'home' based on the search for originality and quality; A real challenge in a land that has always been suited to the wine tradition, celebrated for its white wines and which until then did not aim at the processing of malt and hops. In 2016, the brewery moved to Piedimonte, in a new factory, with a new and larger production plant in constant implementation, and with a tap room dedicated to tasting, also to the plug, in a context of a welcoming English pub. Since then the production has further expanded and diversified, drawing inspiration from different brassic, Anglo -Saxon and Central European traditions, up to the current proposal of about 20 different styles. Ancient county is therefore the ideal destination for those who prefer craft beer and want to taste its best local expressions in a decidedly curious variant.
