ULPE WOOD ART PREGIATE SCULTURE IN LEGNO VAL GARDENA
The UP brand guarantees high quality sculptures! One of the most important artistic studies in the art of wood sculpture. Very high quality artistic works carved in fine mightwood and hand-painted wood. The artist Ulrich Perathoner descends from a family of wooden sculptors from Val Gardena, type of artistic crafts that arose in the mid-seventeenth century in the aforementioned place. In ancient times, ""ornamental"" defined sculptors handed down their artistic experience to other sculptors who, over time, have rejuvenated the technique also increasing new themes to be interpreted, such as sacral subjects. Ulrich Perathoner fits in this context and worked since 1972 as a success as a sculptor teacher; His artistic training began with the attendance of the Institute of Art in Ortisei, to then be perfected during the period in which he was a student of the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. Its personal need to expand their artistic knowledge has made its company one of the most important internationally in the production of wooden sculptures. Since 2003 his son Daniel Perathoner is part of this company. He obtained an artistic formation from a wooden sculptor, subsequently attended the Academy of Fine Arts of Munich, to which he graduated with excellent artistic performances like ""Meisterschüler"", student with honors. Through this high quality artistic training boasts the prerogatives to direct this company: creativity and a solid base.
