Monastero di Santa Elisabetta
The monastery of Santa Elisabetta is a new Orthodox monastery in Minsk (Belarus). The attivita 'of the monastery are varied: the sisters take care of the mental patients in the national mental health clinic and children and disabled adults of the institutions next to the monastery (there are about 300 children and 800 adults). At 30 km from Minsk the monastery manages two reception houses for people in difficulty: homeless and ex-prisoners, alcoholics and addicts. To receive support in our artisan laboratories we produce Byzantine icons, hand-painted Russian icons, sacred articles, matriosche, Christmas decorations, glass gifts, wooden, ceramic, cribs etc. All objects are original, handmade with love and prayer. The proceeds goes to support work of charity and the needy people.
